3. Accessing the website & server logs

When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files that your browser transmits (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system). This data is technically required to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). The website is hosted with Railway (Railway Corp., USA).

4. Analytics with Rybbit

To analyse the use of this website we use Rybbit — analytics software we host ourselves. Rybbit works without cookies and without cross-device recognition; no full IP addresses are stored. Processing serves the statistical evaluation of usage based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in a needs-based design of the website. As the data remains on our own infrastructure, it is not passed on to third parties for analytics purposes.

5. Fonts (Bunny Fonts)

To display fonts consistently we use Bunny Fonts, a service of BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia, EU). When you load a page, your browser fetches the required fonts from Bunny Fonts' servers. Bunny Fonts is designed to be privacy-friendly and, according to the provider, processes no personal data and sets no cookies. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. Contact form

If you contact us via the contact form, we process the data you enter (name, email address, optionally company/website and role, and your message) in order to respond to your enquiry. The submission is sent to our own server; the data is stored in a database we operate. To be notified of new enquiries we use the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required.

7. Spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile

To protect the contact form from automated access (bots) we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Turnstile checks whether an input comes from a human and processes technical information from your browser for this purpose. It is designed to be data-minimising. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

8. Sign-up & use of the web app

The SeoMap application itself is provided atapp.seomap.dev. To sign in you may optionally use your Google account (OAuth); you can connect your Google Search Console if you wish. Ranking data is retrieved via the service provider DataForSEO. Payments for a paid plan are processed via the payment provider Stripe (Stripe, Inc.). Details on processing within the web app are provided during sign-up.

9. Storage period

We process and store personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. Afterwards the data is deleted.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to adjust this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services.
